"Level 1 enhancer" in person training

The Atlantic District will be conducting additional in-person training sessions for New Level 1 Officials.  These "Enhancers" will consist of 1 hour of classroom training, 2-2.5 hours of live games and an hour of classroom to wrap up the day.  

ALL officials must be completely registered with USA Hockey as an official and have attended their Level 1 Virtual Seminar (see below) prior to attending a Level 1 Enhancer Seminar.   Officials MUST have full officiating equipment to participate as well.

To register for one of these programs, please click the link below.  There is no cost to attend, this is completely voluntary but will be a chance to learn from experienced officials who will shadow you on the ice during a live game situation and provide mentorship and feedback on the spot.   Sessions are limited to 24 participants.

2024-2025 Officiating Registration

Registration for the 2024-2025 season will open around June 3 and will close on October 31.

All Requirements MUST be complete by December 31.

REGISTRATION NOTES FOR 2024-2025

• You must wait about 24 hours after registering with USA Hockey to register for your seminar.  Sometimes it is sooner, but the system needs time to process your registration and sync with the Courses system before it will find you.
• SafeSport – this is now a 12-month renewal period, not seasonal.  The Safe Sport courses do not show in the available, in progress, or completed courses tabs. They do not show in the dashboard after they are complete. Do not worry about not getting a physical certificate – the physical cert is not required.   Safe Sport reports to the records in the USA Hockey within 24 hours of completion.  Your profiles will not update the Safe Sport status at this time. The IT department is working on the programming to show a date of renewal instead of a season of renewal.
